Elyse Moretti is a freelance writer currently based in Madison, WI. A 2007 graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Elyse has worked in various research settings at her alma mater as well as Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She taught special education on the island of Oahu as a member of the 2007 Teach For America – Hawai’i corps. Her research interests include the integration of new technologies into therapeutic settings, helping children learn via technology, and neurodevelopmental psychology.
Elyse specializes in both creative and non-fiction projects. Her independent film credits include The Crimson Rose by Trimedia Pictures (co-writer), NiCE TO MEET YOU by Chuck Hashbarger of the New York Film Academy (writer), and one feature-length picture currently in development (co-writer). She has also worked on several student film projects. GRADUATES, an original series created by Elyse and Jennifer Kalb, was optioned by Verax Media. In the non-fiction realm, Elyse is a content writer for Incendia Media, conducting interviews and writing articles concerning health, fitness, and medicine, and maintains a research blog at http://psychtechnology.blogspot.com.
